Styx Nappier (They/He) strives for excellence while covering issues around the St. Louis area. He is currently obtaining a Bachelors of Arts in Journalism and Women, Gender, and Sexuality studies at Webster University. Since beginning this education, he has worked for the Webster Journal for over two years --  including the positions of Social Media Manager and Managing Editor.

Inspired by their experience in small town Missouri, Styx actively leads a life dedicated to making the world better. While this has many different expressions in his work, it is often visible within their coverage of the LGBTQ+ community and abuse advocacy. Utilizing these two different backgrounds, they aim to shed more light on joy, safety, and community within vulnerable populations.
